We are an organization that supports artists through Artist Residencies.

We promote the intersection of art professionals by networks, professional connections, and curatorial support
to participate in Mexico City's creative scene.

“The Artist can help us all reconnect to a deeper dignity, a celebration of the soul which in its most natural state desires nothing else but to be in Harmony with the Earth.”

WOMB is an emergent artist collective and sanctuary in the heart of Mexico City dedicated to the healing of the planet through creativity and the exploration of the divine feminine. According to the Aztec Sun Calendar, humanity is entering the Sun of the Flower wherein beauty, art and integration are the key attributes of this new era. WOMB honors the wisdom of the flowers and is committed to the transformation of urban life by becoming a completely sustainable, off-the-grid, zero-waste community--combining  permaculture, technology and the inventiveness of artists to create beautiful solutions.

Set in the bustling community of Portales, WOMB is in the very first phases of renovating the 1940s California Style home that was lovingly owned by the Limón family for over seventy years. The garden is its muse and biggest art project, and is dedicated to Josefina Limón (the matriarch of the family) who until the day she died tended the roses with love.

Please click on all the different tabs to learn about the mission and the projects that will be happening at WOMB and most importantly, if you are called to be part of the beautifying of our planet, there are many ways you can contribute to the community.

¡Gracias!

Beauty is the Revolution

"The question becomes not whether we can survive, but how we want to live. It becomes no longer how to achieve sustainability, but what we want to sustain.”

[Charles Eisenstein]
